Poetry: A Lesson Learned

Student Information:

A Poetry Example

Students will need to write, graph, blog, poetry, email and/or use a word processor, according to their choice of technology, to complete their presentations, based on a main point and its supporting evidence from the text above to include close attention to grammar, spelling and in sentence structure.  Each student will produce their presentation, based on the same main point (question).  The question is as stated:  What does "hog" represent to Miss Emma?

Important:
The *supporting* evidence to the *main* question must be from the text.

Prerequisites:  Students need to have a basic knowledge relating to the use of the Internet, and emailing.  According to what technology that will be used,  students will need to have basic computer knowledge and to its associated hardware, such as a printer.  Students need to also have the basic knowledge for blogging, graphing, emailing, and in the use of a word processor, according to their choice of technology and associated instructions.

Technology Instructions:  Blogging and graphing (concept map) will be attached to an email and sent to your instructor.  The word processing document will be *attached* to an email and sent to your instructor.  A single lecture, poetry, and email preferences shall also be presented to your instructor.  Note:  Print a copy out for your individual presentation.

Learners Analysis:  students, using the above technology, do have basic experience.  All students have experience in writing a paragraph and in close attention to grammar, spelling and in sentence structure.
